Contest Rules
Help a homeless vet this holiday season, and you could win a prize package!
Terms:
Sponsored by the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles, the “#HomesForHeroes Prize Giveaway” contest runs 12/28/15 through 12/31/15. Contestants submitting entries agree to the rules of the contest. Must be 18 or older to enter.
All winners must contact the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles to claim their prizes within seventy-two (72) hours of being notified of winning. If a winner fails to claim the prize or fails to inform the sponsor of his or her inability to claim the prize before the deadline, or is otherwise determined to have failed to comply with the rules of the drawing, then his or her entry will be forfeited, and the sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant, in its sole discretion. The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No conversion to cash privilege. Each winner is responsible for any taxes associated with receiving their prize.
Who may enter:
Anyone in the State of California over the age of 18 is eligible to win. The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles staff, board members, consultants to the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles and their immediate families are not eligible to win a prize.

How to enter:
Entries are automatic when a donation is made to the #HomesForHeroes. Entries may also be made by sending an email to information@MayorsFundLA.org with GIVEAWAY ENTRY in the Subject Line of the email.1
Donations or emailed entries must be received by the following day/time to be eligible for each giveaway package:
Tech package: Entries received between 12:00AM PST through 11:59PM PST on December 28, 2015.
Mayor Garcetti’s “Instagram Images” Calendar 2016 #1: Entries received between 12:00AM PST through 11:59PM PST on December 29, 2015.
Fitness Package: Entries received between 12:00AM PST through 11:59PM PST on December 30, 2015.
Mayor Garcetti’s “Instagram Images” Calendar 2016 #2: Entries received between 12:00AM PST through 11:59PM PST on December 31, 2015.
Winners:
Winners for each day will be randomly selected the following morning and notified within seventy-two (72) hours via email. Entrants have seventy-two (72) hours to claim their prize.
Prizes:
Tech Package: GoPro Hero camera, head mount, and handheld tripod, plus a Zolt Laptop Plus charger.
Fitness Package: Soulcycle package, Boot Camp experience, plus a new fitness outfit and pair of shoes from New Balance.
Mayor Garcetti’s ‘Instagram Images’ Desktop Calendar 2016 – Limited edition desktop calendar of twelve hand-selected images of Los Angeles taken by Mayor Eric Garcetti.
The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles reserves the right to alter any rules of this contest at any time.
