LA Optimized launched in Fall 2020 as a part of the MFLA EY Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) Program with the specific goal of support the online presence for small businesses. The program was created in response to the growing change in consumer behavior to purchasing goods and services through online and e-commerce platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic. LA Optimized provides technical support, services and education to help small businesses adapt to consumer behavior and utilize technology to market and grow in the digital marketplace. Key elements include: Search engine optimization through business listing; website development and/or optimization to leverage online marketing and expanding business capacity to grow in digital marketplaces; and, e-commerce health audits with individualized consultations to assess analytic trackers to achieve greater success. EIR Roberto Martinez and Braven continue to lead the work which has supported more than 430 businesses to date.
