In partnership with City Hall, MFLA is dedicated to supporting data-driven solutions to L.A.’s environmental challenges. In 2016, resources from the S.D. Bechtel, Jr Foundation supported a dedicated Water Data Fellow on the Mayor’s data team. Since then, the Fellow’s work has helped move L.A. toward a leadership position in water conservation. The fellowship tracks and analyzes L.A.’s progress toward the Sustainable City pLAn’s water savings goals in partnership with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. These lasting tools continue to help manage water and energy conservation.
