Tom is the Founding Partner of one of LA’s leading venture capital firms, Rustic Canyon Partners. Previously Tom served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Times Mirror Company. Further, he was a partner of Morrison & Foerster and earlier, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. Tom has served on the boards of The California Community Foundation (CCF), CalArts, Heal the Bay, MOCA (Life Trustee), and ProPublica, as well as a Trustee of the California State Teachers Retirement System. Tom has also been a board member of several Rustic Canyon portfolio companies, as well as Blackline Systems and Praedicat.
