The Mayor’s Fund’s eviction prevention program, We Are LA, was recently featured by NBC4 for helping renters across the city remain in their homes.

For sixteen years, one L.A. family called their apartment home. Then a job loss led to two months of missed rent, an eviction notice, and a landlord who had already filed suit. Facing the 10-day deadline to respond to their eviction notice, just in time the family turned to We Are LA for support.
