In the past couple of months, since the COVID-19 moratorium was lifted, Angelenos have found themselves on the brink of homelessness. With the help of a coalition of community partners, We Are LA has been saving thousands of Angelinos from evictions and potential homelessness. Thanks to all the outreach workers, case managers, eviction lawyers and advocates, we’ve reached over 150,000 Angelenos and are connecting with more every day. As of right now, more than 17,000 Angelenos have requested support with getting connected to resources that will allow them to pay rent. While we’re not close to helping every Angeleno that needs help, we’re making strong progress towards connecting our communities with the resources they need.
