Mayor’s Fund announces common-sense donation reforms

The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles has adopted several reforms to its policy for accepting contributions that mirror city candidate campaign contribution rules. Going forward, the fund will no longer accept donations from individuals registered to lobby the city, as well as developers focused on doing business with the city. The goal is to adhere to the highest ethical standards while providing the support needed to help prevent homelessness in Los Angeles and address other critical issues facing the city.
