We Are LA raise awareness about tenant rights and resources available
On August 1, COVID-19 rental protections expired for thousands of Angelenos. Mayor Karen Bass, Councilmember Nithya Raman, Los Angeles Housing Department Assistant General Manager Anna Ortega and President & CEO of the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles Conway Collis held a press conference to raise awareness about tenant rights and resources available. After the press conference, Conway Collis was interviewed by a variety of outlets in Los Angeles. Through his interviews, he explained the latest “We Are LA” program and other resources available to the hundreds of thousands of vulnerable renters across the city.
